Wow, I couldn’t put it down. “Not just a race” is the perfect heading for this book. This is an honest and awe inspiring account of an achievement that I can still not really comprehend.  87km marathon in South Africa, training for that race over 9 months, whilst being a husband and father to a young family and a demanding job at the same time?

Is he crazy? Yes probably! Justin also completed this race in under  9 hours and raised $85,000 for Cerebral Palsy Foundation. Did you know every 18 hours a child is born with cerebral palsy?

For anyone who enjoys reading about people who have challenged themselves beyond belief and succeeded, I would recommend this book. I especially enjoyed his internal rants and the pure raw honesty of his reporting.  There is so much to take from this book and I am sure you will be hearing a lot more from this individual and this family!

What a great Father’s Day present!!!

Recently I discovered one of my clients had become an author. I was amazed because this particular client is a father of 4 young children, has a challenging job that already keeps him busy, so to have time to write a book!

But when I found out the book was about his pursuit and completion of an 87km marathon called “Comrades Marathon” in South Africa I was speechless.

Justin’s book is about his training for the race (1900km in 9 months) (e.g. before he had even started the race he had gone through 6 pairs of runners!) and the race.
